Federal
Federal opportunities from SAM.gov, matched to you.
BidCast covers SAM.gov's contract opportunities, updated three times a day. It matches them to what you sell, leaves out the set-asides you can't bid on, and marks the RFIs and presolicitations that come before an RFP.
What you get from SAM.gov
Set-asides checked against your certifications
Tell BidCast your certifications (small business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB) and it leaves out the set-asides you can't bid on. A sole-source set-aside is never shown as open to you.
More →Early notices, marked as early
Presolicitations, RFIs and special notices carry an early tag, and when one turns into a solicitation, you're told.
One listing per opportunity
When SAM.gov posts an update as a new notice, you see the opportunity once, in its latest version, not twice.
Brand names and competitors, flagged
A brand-name-only requirement is marked, and so is any competitor you name that appears in a notice.
The award, when it's posted
When SAM.gov posts the award for an opportunity, BidCast shows who won it and for how much.
Forecasts before the notice
With Intelligence, agency procurement forecasts from GSA and DHS show the expected solicitation date, value range, set-aside and incumbent.
More →How it works
- 1
Describe what you sell
And which certifications you hold, if any: the assistant asks rather than assumes.
- 2
Get federal matches
Ranked by fit, set-asides you can't bid on left out, each linked to its SAM.gov notice.
- 3
Follow to the deadline
Amendments, a moved response date, the award: you hear about each one.
In plain words
BidCast does
- Links every opportunity to its notice on SAM.gov
- Leaves out set-asides your certifications don't cover
- Tells followers when an RFI becomes a solicitation
- Shows each opportunity once, in its latest version
BidCast never
- Shows a sole-source set-aside as open to you
- Guesses your certifications: it asks
- Needs a sales call to get started
Questions
Is SAM.gov in the free month?
No. The free month covers one state. Federal is a $29 a month add-on to Per state or Regional, and National ($149 a month) includes it.
How current are federal opportunities?
Updated three times a day, each linked to its notice on SAM.gov.
Can it tell me whether I can bid on a set-aside?
Yes, once it knows your certifications: set-asides you can't bid on are left out. Until then, set-asides are labelled and nothing is hidden.
Do you cover federal grants?
Grants.gov openings for states, counties, cities and special districts are in Intelligence, as signals that a government is about to buy. The Finder is for contract opportunities.
Can I see who won?
Yes. When SAM.gov posts the award for an opportunity, BidCast shows who won it and for how much.
